Resurrection Catholic Elementary is saying goodbye to three teachers with more than 100 years of combined education experience. Teachers Dawn Ezell, Terri Acosta and Donna Dart have retired from teaching.
Dawn Ezell is retiring with 40 years in education, the last 8 at RCES. She has 4 children: Carrie, Caitlin, Clifton and Emma, 5 grandchildren and another on the way. Dawn’s retirement plans include exercising, volunteering, and spending time with her grandchildren. She stated she is very blessed to have had the opportunity to teach at RCES, especially since she was a student here herself.
Terri Acosta has been teaching for 25 years, all of which have been at RCES. Terri is married to Benjamin Acosta and has two children, Rob and Katie, and 3 grandchildren. After retiring, Terri plans to continue her work with the homeless, as a CASA volunteer, and teaching CCD, as well as play tennis.
Donna Lynch Dart just completed her 10th year at RCES and her 42nd year in education. Donna is married to Bill Dart and has one daughter, Lindsey, and two grandchildren. Donna’s retirement plans include spending time with family, helping with her grandkids and ,hopefully, subbing at RCES.
RCES would like to thank Mrs. Acosta, Mrs. Ezell and Mrs. Dart for their dedication to our students and our school. May God continue to bless you the way you have blessed RCS! We will miss you!
