Help Resurrection Catholic School Hit the Road with a New Bus: Join the Eagle Olympics “Junk the Jalopy” Challenge!

At Resurrection Catholic School, our goal is to provide a well-rounded education for our students, all while keeping tuition as affordable as possible. One exciting way we do this is through creative fundraising activities like the upcoming Eagle Olympics.

This isn’t just any fundraiser. We want our children to have fun, learn, compete, and succeed. We also invite our Sponsors to do more than just contribute financially; we want them to help the children they love flourish.

This year’s Eagle Olympics features the theme “Junk the Jalopy.” Why? Because our school desperately needs a new bus, and this fundraising competition is the way to make it happen.

What is the Eagle Olympics?

The Eagle Olympics isn’t just about sports. It’s a rich tapestry of activities that cater to the spiritual and personal growth of our students. Here’s what’s in store:

  • Bible Memorization: Challenge students to remember verses.
  • Free Throws: Basketball skills in action.
  • Jump Rope Challenges: How many jumps can they manage?
  • Mullet Net Toss: A unique and fun game.
  • Poster Contest: Let’s get creative!

Students get sponsored for completing these activities, with family and friends pledging support. And it’s not just individual success we’re celebrating; competitions between different grade groups will foster teamwork and drive students to perform better.

Grades Competition:
  • Group 1: Grades 4,5, and 6
  • Group 2: Grades 7, 8, and 9
  • Group 3: Grades 10,11, and 12

These groups will go head-to-head for the title of overall winner, and standout students will even receive a trophy!

Success in Action:

Take Susie, a spirited 5th grader with four generous sponsors. Over the course of the 12- week competition, Susie memorized 25 Bible Verses, scored 5 free throws, jumped rope 50 times, made 7 mullet net tosses, and created an inspired poster. Her hard work and determination led her to raise an impressive $285 for the new bus.

Are you ready to be part of this incredible journey? Join us for the Eagle Olympics and help Resurrection Catholic School “Junk the Jalopy” and roll into the future with a new bus. Your participation could change lives, enriching our students’ education, and ensuring that they have safe and reliable transportation.

Don’t just donate; get involved, and watch our children grow, succeed, and thrive!

The competition starts August 28 and runs 12 weeks ending November 17.
