Resurrection Catholic School proudly celebrated Homecoming Week from September 22–26 with the theme, “Stampede the Irish!” Students showed off their creativity and Eagle pride throughout the week with Spirit Days including Howdy Partner Duos Day, Rodeo Day, and Country vs. Country Club Day. Middle and High School students also added to the excitement by decorating the campus hallways.
On Thursday, the tradition continued with RCS’s annual Homecoming Parade, Block Party, and Pep Rally. Homecoming Maids, football players, and cheerleaders made their way through the streets of Downtown Pascagoula as fans lined the route to cheer them on. The celebration then moved into a high-energy pep rally led by the RCS Cheerleaders and featuring performances from the Elementary, Middle, and High School cheer squads, along with the always entertaining class dances. The night closed on a meaningful note with a group prayer over the cheer and football teams.
Friday night brought the much-anticipated Homecoming court presentations. Elementary maids were recognized prior to kickoff, followed by the Middle and High School maids at halftime. The evening’s highlight came as Senior Eliza Boland was crowned the 2025 Homecoming Queen.
The festivities wrapped up Saturday with the Middle and High School Homecoming dances, where students ended the week with fun and fellowship.
Homecoming 2025 was filled with school spirit and tradition and was one to be remembered. What a great week to be an EAGLE!
