RCS BASEBALL WINS 1A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Resurrection Catholic High School Eagles made history by bringing home the MHSAA 1A Baseball State Championship, the first in school history. The Eagles, led by Coach Johnny Olsen in his final season, completed a sweep of Biggersville and outscored their opponent 7-1 during the series. Senior JT Schnoor was named series MVP and Junior Max Askew was named Scholar Athlete. Schnoor, Askew and Senior standout Joe Scarborough were named to the Class 1A Mississippi High School Baseball Coaches All-State Team and Coach Olsen was named Coach of the Year.
