Jenna Baber Named RCMHS Cheerleading Coach

RCS Principal Kristal Sisson and Athletic Director Eric Denmark are pleased to announce that Jenna Baber has been selected as the new Resurrection Catholic Middle/High School Cheerleading Coach. Baber has been hired to replace Dr. Alice Lachausee, who is stepping away from coaching after this school year.

Jenna Baber has been a teacher at Resurrection Catholic School since 2016. She is a former Ole Miss Varsity cheerleader. While at Ole Miss, Jenna was elected the MVP her senior year and lettered in athletics. Through the years, Jenna has coached cheer and gymnastics at the Studio of Dance & Gymnastics, as well as judging numerous cheer tryouts throughout the state of Mississippi. She is thrilled to be appointed the RCMHS cheer coach for 2025-2026 and looks forward to serving the students as a teacher and a coach. Baber states, ” I am honored to be selected and look forward to continuing to build the cheer program at RCMHS. Soar Eagles!”

Athletic Director Denmark stated, “We are excited to appoint Mrs. Baber as the RCMHS Cheerleading Coach! Her impressive interview highlighted her dedication, experience and passion for cheerleading and we are confident that she will bring a fresh perspective to our program. We look forward to seeing her leadership continue to inspire our cheerleaders and foster a strong sense of teamwork and school spirit!”
