Welcome Back Students!!
August 4, 2023RCS Celebrates Grandparent’s Day!
September 13, 2023As students at Resurrection Catholic School, children are taught what it means be an intentional disciple of Christ through daily morning devotions, prayer throughout day, daily theology classes and weekly Mass. Our children learn to be leaders in their faith by being recognized as Campus Ministers and are rewarded with monthly virtue awards.
One of the main areas of focus that our students learn is service. To be an RCS student is to be a servant of Christ. This has been on display already this school year. At our Elementary campus, members of the Campus Ministry team spent time with residents of a senior living home in celebration of Grandparent’s Day. At the Middle/High school campus, students have been busy serving in many ways such as packing and delivering bags for Backpack Buddies, spending time weekly with students at the Jackson County Exceptional School, and mentoring our littlest Eagles at the elementary campus.
Our students learn what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ and put this into action daily. Thank you, students, for giving back to your schools and communities and thank you to our faculty and staff for investing in our students and teaching them values that they will carry with them the rest of their lives!
