RCMHS Welcomes Mrs. Lori Parker!

Resurrection Catholic School is excited to welcome Josh Barton to our school staff as the new IT Director! Mr. Barton is already a member of the RCS family with his daughter, Isabella Barton, attending our school.
Mr. Barton brings a vast knowledge of IT experience with him. His IT/computer experience started before he finished high school. While attending Moss Point High School in 1994, Mr. Barton worked in the school computer labs. Upon graduating from MPHS in 1995, the Moss Point School District decided that his computer skills were definitely needed and they put him on the payroll. While attending college, Mr. Barton continued to work with Moss Point School District. After graduating college, he began working at Ingalls Shipbuilding in the IT department. He has held many different roles within the IT department since 2000. Currently, Mr. Barton serves as the Corporate Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity Engineering and Identity Management.
This summer, Mr. Barton has been busy at RCS upgrading and replacing the computer network for both campuses. This includes working on virus removal as well as upgrading the computer security.
Principal Kristal Sisson says, “Josh has worked hard all summer on both campuses getting our technology updated. He has spent hours upon hours making sure RCS has the latest updates and purchasing new computers and ipads for staff and students. He is the best, and I am so grateful for his expertise in operating our current system and planning for our future technology needs. Josh is so talented and brilliant, and we are blessed to have him handling our IT!”
